THE ROLE OF PARENTS
Parents must ensure that their wards attend classes and take tests and examinations regularly. They must monitor the academic performance of their wards, peruse the academic progress report.

The college works from Monday to Saturday in a six-day-order cycle. College timings are from 10.00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. with lunch and tea breaks. All students must report to the college before 9.40 a.m. Late-comers will not be allowed to enter the college.

Students must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance to be eligible for writing the university examination. In case of any shortage of attendance, the student will not be permitted to appear for the University examination.

Absence without prior permission is not permitted. The student's name will be struck off the rolls, if the absence is marked for five continuous days without any prior permission.

Any form of ragging, done overtly or covertly, is a serious offence. Any student who involves in such activities will be summarily dismissed from the College without any notice.

The use of mobile phones is strictly banned within the college campus. Any violation will lead to the confiscation of the mobile phones. The confiscated mobile phone will be returned only when the student leaves the college on completion of the course. In the event of any repetition of the offence, the student will be summarily dismissed from the College without any notice.

Each student is entrusted with two cards for borrowing books from the library and one book on each card can be borrowed for a week. The books should be returned on or before the due date.

Any act of infringement of the rules of the college will amount to indiscipline. The student guilty of an act of indiscipline will be immediately dismissed from the college. It is emphasized that smoking and drinking of alcoholic beverages and the use of narcotics are strictly prohibited. Any one violating these regulations will be expelled from the college immediately without any notice.
