SRIMATHI SUNDARAVALLI MEMORIAL ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE
The Government of Tamil Nadu, Higher Education Department, has accorded sanction for starting the College with effect from the academic year 2025-2026. The Management has obtained the provisional affiliation for starting the college.

Srimathi Sundaravalli Memorial Educational Trust was founded on 3rd May 1985 in the fond memory of Smt. K. Sundaravalli, the beloved mother of Sri. K. Santhanam, the Founder Chairman, Managing Trustee and Correspondent of the SSM School. The Trust was started with the primary aim of imparting quality education  to students and Healthcare to serve the humanity at large.

Sri. S. Ranganathan, the Trustee, is the Secretary of the College. He is an Aeronautical Engineering Graduate and a licensed pilot. His vision is for creating a significant impact on the educational landscape of our Nation. He is the Chief Executive Officer of the Trust.

Dr. V. Rajagopalan, the Dean of the College, was the Head of the Department of English (Retd.), Madras Christian College, and later served in S.S.K.V. College of Arts and Science for Women, Kanchipuram, as the Principal and Dean for the past 16 years. He is an Embodiment of Knowledge in the field of Arts and Science higher education.

Dr. C. Kala, Principal of the college, brings with her rich teaching and research experience having taught Management Studies in institutions of repute for more than seventeen years. She has a vision to serve the cause of higher education by being a role model to generations of students to come by being a catalyst Principal for their transformation process.

We aspire to transform the lives of our students through education with a commitment to service and to make them responsible citizens, emphasising human values and professional ethics.Our policy outlines our commitment to operating in a sustainable and responsible manner, impacting the environment, society, and the community by celebrating the important national and socio-cultural occasions and by organising various campaigns for creating awareness among the stake holders.
